Teacher's Best - The Creative Process

Skeletal System Anatomy Posters, Photographs, & Charts; pg 1/2
for the science classroom, home schoolers, rehabilitation, physical therapy, sports medicine.

educational posters > science > biology > anatomy > skeletal system posters 1 | 2 < health

Skeletal system posters and medical charts include illustrations of the human skull, hip, knee, shoulder, wrist, and hand as well as images of disease conditions like arthritis and osteoporosis.

The skeleton, either external (exoskelton), internal (endoskeleton), or hydrostatic (fluid based) provides support for living organisms. Humans have an internal skeleton made up ossified tissue called bones, supplemented by ligaments, tendons, cartilage, and moved by muscles. Human bones also produce blood cells in the bone marrow. An example of an exoskeletons are shellfish; leaches are an example of a hydrostatic skeleton.
