| Sonia Delaunay's modern design work of geometric abstraction was iintegrated into furniture, fabrics, wall coverings, and clothing. She and her husband Robert Delaunay were part of a group called Orphism, related to cubism, that moved to convey the existence of an infinitude of interrelated states of being (Simultanism) through more abstraction and bright colors. Einstein published his Special Theory of Relativity in 1905 - the scientific expression of the same idea. |
